Spanish pop/rock band Bol made its live debut in 1997 while performing at Gaztetxe de Estella. In November of 1998, Bol's first album, called Qué Es Lo Que Piensas Tú?, was released. In April of 1999, the foursome, led by singer/guitarist Cristina Martínez, became one of the finalists at the popular Villa de Billbao rock contest. After successfully participating in different festivals, the group recorded Lob, featuring John Lennon's "Isolation," released in July of 2000.
